Sloth I’ll get over it I just need to be dramatic first. This movie is amazing, it was so sad and left me speechless. Joaquin Phoenix did such an amazing acting job. Being a girl who had a brain injury this year this hit close to home. What a great performance and way to shed light on stuff we don’t like to talk about. Wow! My movie review of the “Joker” without giving it away: To me this movie showed the Joker of why he became the way he was. This delves deeply building up character development. Joaquin suffered in real life by eating barely anything for the part. That is true dedication right there. Plus I think that some detail was left out of it because there may be a sequel. Joaquin truly got into his role. He was able to show the mental breakdown of Joker and to me that was impressive. Not everyone can pull that off. To some this movie may seem simplistic but that’s what was so genius how he held the candle flame on his act alone. It was able to show him dancing as possibly a stress reliever. I think his role will surely win an Oscar. For him to laugh uncontrollably with his nervous condition due to injury you felt sympathy for his character. It showed how being bullied pushed him to the breaking point. My husband and I can’t wait to watch it again.
